NCTWC Draws Sold-Out Crowd for Regional Membership Mixer

The Northeast Construction Trades Workforce Coalition, Inc. (NCTWC) held a Membership Mixer on Nov. 19, 2025, at Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady. The sold-out event brought together 350 attendees, including construction trade professionals, labor partners, school counselors and administrators, workforce development organizations, and other stakeholders committed to strengthening the region’s construction trades workforce pipeline.
Mike Nelson of Blue-Collar Startup and Five Towers Media served as emcee for the evening.
One of the standout moments came from student speaker Lilly Anne Springer, an alum of NCTWC’s Girls Construction Summer Camps, offered in partnership with Whitbeck Construction and WSWHE BOCES. Springer spoke about discovering her interest in the trades, providing an impactful example of NCTWC’s mission in action.
Sarah Landers, High School Counselor at Warrensburg Central School, offered valuable insights into trades career pathways for students, energizing attendees and advancing the coalition’s workforce goals.
The event signified the Coalition’s remarkable growth and overwhelming support from both tradespeople and those who champion the trades.
